Director for the UF Center for Regenerative Medicine Keith March, MD, PhD and center faculty member Dmitry Traktuev, PhD have been awarded “Best Research Paper” during the 2017 calendar year by the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. The Aesthetic Surgery Journal is a peer-reviewed international journal focusing on scientific developments and clinical techniques in aesthetic surgery.
Their work on the publication “Adipose Stem Cell Function Maintained with Age: An Intra-Subject Study of Long-Term Cryopreserved Cells,” was announced as the winning paper on Friday, March 30. The award will be recognized at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery’s annual meeting in New York City next month.
